Hi, again...

Hey guys, sorry I've not been posting a lot, more blog complications have occurred just like in the summer, but now everything is fixed!

I'd just like to make a short post about my favourite autumn items (beauty and none beauty). I've seen this tag floating around the Internet for a bit so I though I might give it a go for myself!

1) Favourite Yankee Candle scent for autumn?
Fluffy Towels, for definite. There just something really nice about the smell of fresh linen for me, don't even ask... Or Strawberry Buttercream - both are a must have!

2) Favourite song for autumn?
This autumn I've really been loving Dancing Song or Worry by Little Comets. I'll leave links to these at the end.

3) Favourite clothing item for autumn?
I love shirts for autumn/winter becasue they are great for layering with thick jumpers or cardigans. My favourite shirt is either a white lace one from Topshop or a dusty shell pink sheer shirt from New Look.

4) Favourite shoes for autumn?
My Doc Marten floral looks likes from BHS. They're really comfertable and suit most of my autumn wardrobe very well. They're navy blue with cream and marron roses.

5) Favourite memory from this autumn?
Seeing one of my favourite bands live - The Vamps - at the Meadowhall Christmas Light Swich On with two of my best friends, Olivia (@0livia3mily) and Ellie (@EllieRose505). It was such a good vibe there and seeing them live literally made my year!

6) Favourite autumn accessory?
Beanies all the way! I live in my beanies - my favourite colours are dark wine red and black.

7) Favouirte Lush product for autumn?
I know it's kind of a Christmas one, but the 'So White' bath ballistic (I think it's called that) is just amazing. It has the best scent in the world. It smells just like fresh apples.

8) Favourite Starbucks for autumn?
Pumpkin Spice Latte - it's a really overrated drink but I love it anyway.

9) Favourite autumn perfume?
Kenzo de Kenzo by Kenzo. It's one of my fist perfumes and I just love it to pieces - it just has a warm, musty scent to it that I love.

10) Who should answer this next?
I'd like Rhiannon (fashionrocksmysocks) to answer this because she is my all time favourite blogger and she's the reason Diary Of a Techo Fan exists today.

Thanks for reading, bye!

Change

Hey guys, I wanted to make a post about trying something new and making a change for the better. I've been trying this out recently and about a month ago, I found the perfect way to do it.

There is an Irish YouTuber called BriBryontour and he basically does whatever he has to do to be happy. He has created this thing called 'things to do before we die' and it's basically telling us to do whatever we have to do to make the most out of life.

I've decided to embark on one of these and try to recreate his most recent video in my own way. The video is called 'living life in 30 hours' and what he does is he visits two places, in 30 hours. And I'm not saying that you need to spend loads of money on expensive plane tickets or things like that, you just have to travel as far as you want. BriBry traveled to San Francisco and Mexico on his trip. I'm don't really feel like I'm old enough to travel such a distance but this is what I'm going to try to do.

Firstly I'll travel from Sheffield to Gretna, then to Stranraer, after that I'll get a ferry to Belfast, from Belfast I'll travel to Bangor, then Dundalk, then Dublin. From Dublin I'll get a ferry to the Isle Of Man, then another one to Liverpool, then back to Sheffield! All together the journey is approximately 755 miles long and it'll cost around £800. I'm going to try to save up so that sometime next year, this dream will become a reality.

Another way to change your life for the better is by changing something you don't like. Anything, whether it be as simple as the wall colours in your bedroom or something as deep as something you don't like about yourself. Whatever you change will instantly make your life happier and more worth living. I'm going to try and do this to make my life as happy as possible and I think you should do the same. Within the next month, make a change in your life. You'll be surprised at how different you feel afterwards.

Some suggestions I have for making a difference in our lives are
- Listen to a different genre of music
- Dye your hair
- Donate to charity
- Tell someone how much of an inspiration they are
- Travel as much as possible
- Meet new people
- Get rid of anything that makes you unhappy
- Say yes to more things

I hope you enjoyed this post because I had a lot of fun writing in, so, together we can make a change in how we see the world.

September Favourites

Hey guys! Here are my 4 favourite products (make up and clothing items), 3 favourite songs, 2 favourite apps and 1 favourite moment of the past month.

Four favourite products

Topshop nail polish in ‘Celestial’
This nail polish is a really pretty, light, cornflower blue. I think it looks great on tanned or pale hands, and it’ll go well with most colours. It is very long lasting and it doesn't chip straight away. Personally, the only downside to it is that it is quite translucent. It takes 2-3 coats to get it to a nice opaque colour. Apart from that, this nail polish is fantastic and I am definitely going to purchase some other colours.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream for Oily Skin
This BB Cream is fantastic! It has great light to medium coverage and leave the skin with a natural, healthy glow. It works great with normal to oily skin because it has 2% Salicylic who reduces the appearance of oily skin. The only thing I dislike about this product is the lack of colour variety. There are only three shades, light, medium and dark. For me, light is a little bit too dark for me bit it works just fine when you apply a translucent or paler powder. I would definitely recommend this.

Tartan scarf from Asos.com
This scarf is a deep red, blue, green and yellow tartan pattern. It is so thick and soft that it is perfect for using as an accessory or using it as an actual scarf to keep you warm during the colder months. The deep jewel tone colours suit all skin tones and pretty much any colours. It is an extremely long scarf so it is suitable for wearing it in many different ways depending on if it's a fashion statement or to keep you cosy. I don't dislike anything about this scarf, it's a great all rounder and I will be purchasing some in different colour schemes.

Red, cream and navy floral boots from Bhs
These shoes are perfect for autumn! They're a Doc Marten style and the go really well with skirts and dresses to add a bit of an edge. They're really comfertable and they're wearable with out socks (there's a lot of boots that you can't do that with.) They look brilliant with my tartan scarf that I previously talked about because of th similar colours. I bought these boots about a year ago so they aren't available to buy any more, but I'm sure that you can buy similar ones from shops like Office or New look.

Three favourite songs

Fall Out Boy - Young Volcanoes
Two Door Cinema Club - Sleep Alone
Foo Fighters - The Pretender

Two favourite apps

Walking Dead - this is a game where the game changes depending on what choice you make, it's about a zombie apocalypse and you have to try and survive. It's a super good game but not for the faint hearted, it contains a lot of gory scenes - it's made even worse with the good graphics.

Snapchat - it's a great app for having a laugh with your friends. It's made even better because of the time limit on each photo so you don't have a really embarrassing photo of yourself on someone else's phone forever. I'm not too sure about the new update though, it's a bit confusing for such a simple app.

One favourite moment

At the very end of the month, I had a sleepover with my chummy (Vicky) and we had the best time ever! We cooked popcorn - I made an Instagram video about it. We ate pizza, watched X Factor, put face masks on and loads more! It was such a fun night, I loved it!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I might do more favourite in the future!

Friendship

Hey guys! well, this is a blog about friendship and what I think is important in a really close friend. It's going to be kind of similar to my best friends one, but different...
First of all, I'm going my to talk about what I look for in a friend. If you don't agree with what I say - don't get upset, it's just my opinion.
So I look for someone...
Who has a sense of humour like mine
Who I can have inside jokes with
Someone who I can trust
Someone who is honest with me
Someone who I can relate to - in any way
Someone who is a true friend, and doesn't pretend to be
So that's the points I can thing if off the top of my head, now I'm just going to do a little paragraph for each of my closest friends - Vicky, Jack, Issy and Joe.
First Vicky, Vicky is honestly the sweetest girl I know! She is so kind it's unbelievable. She's funny, pretty, smart and completely perfect. We've had so many memories, I even remember the day we met at Paul's Easter party in 2010, the first night we met, we had a sleepover in Paul's caravan. We've been camping so many times, mostly at Santa Pod. We went on this huge spinny ride 9 times, and we went on the Waltzers with Josh, Niamh and this other boy. Anyway, we went to Wales in April for 5 days, and it was amazing! But the best part is that we're going again for 11 days! How will I ever cope? I can't wait for more adventures in the future!
Now, Jack. Jack is such a great friend, I can literally trust him with any secret and I know he won't tell anyone. We only started talking properly in May(ish). Well, I think anyway. All I remember is messaging each other whilst I was in Ireland. We talk nearly everyday now. He definitely ticks all of the boxes for what I look for in a friend, especially with our inside jokes, I mean, omj, he's the fittie from T (inside jokes)... He is one of the nicest boys I have ever met and I really hope we'll stay close for many years to come.
Thirdly Issy. (By the way, these are in no particular order.) I've only just got close to Issy. Well, ever since we went to Alton Towers last month. She is so pretty, smart and just a genuinely amazing person to be around. Maybe about a month or so ago, she cut her hair off to make it into wigs for children for cancer. How kind is that? Her hair is equally beautiful now, and it really suits her. She is amazing at art and in the summer holidays, we're doing an 'art, clay and photography workshop' at our school. I really hope we get closer and stay closer for the rest of our lives. She is one of the best friends I could have ever wished for.
Finally, Joe. I have known Joe for nearly a year now. We met at one of my friends (Lauren) parents wedding party reception thing. It was the best night ever! Joe has introduced me to some of my favourite bands like The Wombats and The Midnight Beast, and I'm so glad he did! I can tell him anything and I know that he won't tell a soul. We've had so many memories together, like going to Meadowhall, skateboarding and so many more! I used to see him about once every month or two, but now I see him a lot more often. Maybe be because his girlfriend is my cousin Emily. We have a lot in common, and Joe has just started his blog! It's called Your Wonderful Distraction and it is literally going to be amazing! I never want to stop talking or seeing each other and I hope we have many more adventures in the near future!
There we go, a post all about my best friends. Wow, that took me a long time to write. I hope you enjoyed it, I'll leave their social media links down below if you want to go check the, out. Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you guys soon!

I have Tumblr...

Hey guys! So yesterday, I made a leap into the unknown. I made a... TUMBLR ACCOUNT. I'll give you a minute to judge me. All done? With my trusty tour guide Esme, I managed to jump into the vortex of unicorns that is called Tumblr. It's slightly addictive. Who am I kidding? It's extremely addictive.
I must have spent about a good 50 minutes trying to find a username that was't taken, but then, the I found the perfect username. Diary of a Techno Fan! To be quite honest, I don't know why I didn't just use that one in the first place. Would have made sense, wouldn't it? Yeah, good going there Ella.
So, as from now I have a Tumblr! I'll reblog a lot of stuff, I think I'll be reblogging all of the Life Scouts badges I have. See you guys soon!

Why is my blog title 'diary of a techno fan'?

Hello! So, I'll be explaining why my blog is called what it is today... There's been a few people who have actually thought that I'm a fan of techno music. Well, that is not the case.

My blog, twitter and Instagram are all named after a song. Techno fan by The Wombats. It is one of my all time favourite songs, and I just love the lyrics in it. Some people who listen to The Wombats *cough* Joe Allott *cough* will get the joke, others won't. The lyrics in the chorus are...

Shut up and move with me, move with meOr, or get out of my faceI didn't queue for an hourTo leave straight away

Shut up and stay with me, stay with meOr, or let go of my handsThe lasers fill our minds with empty plansI never knew I was a techno fan

Everyone get it now? Good, I'm glad we're on the same page, sorry this one was kind of short, it was just one from my list that needed doing.

Or is it? Part One

So, here is part one of my story. I've been writing this for a few weeks and I know it isn't perfect, but this is only this first draft. Hope you enjoy! By the way, it's kind of a fan fiction, so brace yourselves.

Chapter One
It's just a normal day for you. You're on the second day of your month long trip to London. You decide to explore the local streets around your hotel so you can learn the area you're staying in. You step out of the large double oak doors of your hotel and you take a sharp left. You walk about 300 meters up the busy London pavements when you decide to put your headphones in, your favourite band (Muse) starts to play. You take a few paces forward when suddenly, you walk straight into two guys, probably around your own age. One is wearing a black t-shirt with a large white circle in the centre of it. His hair is a deep coffee brown. It falls perfectly onto his pale, yet lightly tanned skin. His chestnut eyes meet yours. The other is wearing a light blue t-shirt with white parrots dotted around on it. His hair is pure black; it sweeps effortlessly across his equally pale skin. His eyes are a bright sky blue, similar to the colour of his shirt.
"Sorry!" You say to both of them.
"It's okay", the first one replies.
"I'm Dan, nice to meet you." He adds, his voice is an amazingly articulate sound, each word pronounced with excellence and diction.
"Yeah, don't worry about it, I'm Phil, nice to meet you!" Phil announces.
"Nice to meet you both, I'm Delilah, how are you?" You ask.
"I'm good thanks, even better for seeing you", Phil answers. You blush so your cheeks turn a bright rose colour, whilst you giggle slightly.
"I'm okay thank you, how are you?" Says Dan.
"I'm good, but I'm lost..." You reply, because you'd automatically started to walk with them, away from your intended destination.
"Well, where do you want to go?" Phil asks.
“I don’t really know, I’m on holiday, where are you guys going?" You say.
“We’re going to Shake Away, want to come?” Dan asks.
“Yeah! But I don’t have any money... I wasn’t planning on buying anything” you answer.
“Don’t worry, it’s fine, I’ll pay!” Phil tells you.
“Awh! Thank you!” You tell him back.
You all start walking toward the nearest Shake Away – which they tell you is about a fifteen minute walk. As you walk, you get talking to them. You talk about your life, and they talk about theirs. You find out that Dan is called Daniel Howell and that he shares a flat with Philip Lester (Phil). Their flat is only a few minutes away from your hotel.
As you reach Shake Away, you all start discussing what milkshakes you are going to get. Phil gets a Daim bar and Oreo milkshake, and Dan get a white chocolate Malteasers and butterscotch milkshake. You have never been to Shake Away before so you get an Oreo and white chocolate Malteasers one, a combination of theirs. You all sit on a nearby wooden park bench opposite an emerald green field.
“So, where are you from?” Dan asks you.
“I’m from Sheffield, it’s up Manchester way.” You say in between sips of sweet Oreo and Malteasers goodness.
“I’m from Manchester!” Phil announces.
“Really? You sound much more articulate than your average Yorkshire girl”, says Dan.
“Thanks, I guess, hehe” you reply.
“I grew up watching too much Winnie the Pooh...” You say.
“Woah, we have so much in common!” Dan tells you. You all slurp up the remaining milkshake from your large plastic cups.
“Wanna come back to ours for a bit?” they both asked in sync.
“Yeah, sure!” You answer.
“But first, I have to go to the toilet”, Phil says pointing at a large block of public toilets across the road.
“Okay”, you say.
“We’ll be here when you come back.” Dan says to Phil. Phil rushes off to the toilet block meanwhile, you and Dan sit back down on the hard wooden bench.
“Guess what!” Dan whispers.
“What?” you say.
“Phil likes you!” he quietly announces in the same excited whispered tone.
“Really? Well, I like him too...” you tell Dan.
“Awh!” Dan says as he quickly stands up as soon as he sees Phil crossing over the quiet road.
“So, let’s go!" Phil says.
All of you start walking back towards Phil and Dan’s flat, as soon as the conversation gets going, you put one of your headphones in your left ear and carry on listening to the Muse album ‘Origin of Symmetry’. Then, you notice how adorable Phil actually is. His azure eyes twinkle in the sunlight of summer time London.

You reach the flat within 10 minutes of quick walking through the crowded London streets, weaving in between the busy commuters and dog walkers.  It’s a very spacious flat, especially for a flat in central London. They give you a tour, showing you the ins and outs of each room. Dan decides to go out to the local shops to buy you all some Malteasers. It’s just you and Phil, alone in the flat. You sit close to each other on the 3 seater leather sofa, so close your legs are practically touching.
“So, Delilah, I don’t know how to say this exactly, but, um, I fall in love pretty quickly and, I think I've fallen in love with you...” Phil says. You stare into his baby blue eyes.
“I feel the same way.” You tell Phil. Phil’s soft pale hands grasp onto yours, your fingers interlocking.
“So, Delilah, will you be my girlfriend?” Phil asks you.
“Yes” you reply to him, your heart beating fast. Then, Dan walks in, with 3 huge pillar box read boxes of Malteasers.
“So, what have you two been up too then?”Dan asks in a very inquisitive voice whilst winking with a cheeky smile. Then Phil clings onto your arm and pulls you upwards and he starts walking towards Dan, who is on the other side of the kitchen.
“Dan, meet my girlfriend – Delilah” Phil announces proudly. Dan screams happily like a giddy school girl and drops all 3 bus-red boxes of chocolaty treats on the floor. He hugs you both and passes you both a large box of Malteasers. You sit down in between them both and press the equally red button on the long black remote to turn the TV on and watch 3 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer whilst holding hands with Phil. Time flies by whilst you’re playing Skyrim and attempting to make pancakes, before you know it, it’s 8 o’clock and you have to go back to your hotel room. Phil’s soft lips gently kiss you on your increasingly rosy cheeks whilst he plays with your long blonde hair.
“Could you meet us here at 9 o’clock in the morning please?” he asks you.
“Sure!” you reply. Then you hear a shout coming from the kitchen.
“9 o’clock? You've got to be joking me! You never get up THAT early...” Dan exclaims. Phil laughs then opens the door for you and walks out onto the street with you.
“Do you want me to walk with you?” Phil asks with a warm smile spreading across his face. “It’s fine, it’s only a 5 minute walk”, you answer him back.
“Well, tough, I’m walking with you anyway”, he states, a cheeky smile appears on his face. Even though it’s the beginning of August, later in the evenings it can get very cold. When you set out from your house, it was a warm and sunny day, so you only chose to wear a t-shirt and skinny jeans. You start shivering about 30 seconds into the journey, when Phil notices; he takes off his hoodie and wraps it around your shoulders.
“Better?” he asks you.
“Much better thank you cutie”, you reply. As soon as you reach the hotels large oak doors once more.
“Goodbye, I’ll see you tomorrow.” You say.
“Nope, I’m coming up to your room with you, to make sure your okay”, Phil says. As you push open the grand wooden doors, you think about everything that has happened today. Was it even all real? Was it a dream? These thoughts circle around your mind until you get back to your hotel room – Room 285. Phil gives you the biggest hug you could have possibly wished for and kisses your cheek once more. You hand him back his hoodie.
“No, you keep it” he says. You take a deep breath and smell the bright green hoodie around the neckline, it smells exactly like him, you think.
“Okay beautiful, n’night, sweet dreams, I love you” Phil says to you.
“Night night sweet heart, I love you too” you reply. As Phil walks down the corridor you smile and wave at him. And then the reality kicks in.
“I have a boyfriend” you whisper to yourself. You enter your hotel room and plug your iPod into your portable dock-in station and start to play your ‘Favourites’ playlist, which comprises of – Muse, Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats, Arctic Monkeys, The Script and many more Indie-Rock artists. You quickly change into your Winnie the Pooh Pj's and put Phil’s large green hoodie over the top and take deep breaths into it. You lie down in bed, close your eyes and start to dream.

Thank you for reading all the way down hear! That was chapter one, I'll hopefully be posting chapter two sometime next month. I know it's not amazing but I'm quite proud of what I've got so far. See you guys soon!

Issy's Smiler Review!

Okay guys, so I promised I'd write this for Ellaiania but I haven't yet so... Here it goes!
Smiler was great. We queued up for about ten minutes in the single rider queue (the other queue was 3hours!)  and then Ella left - she was too scared hehe, don't blame her though, when we got there they were still testing after it broke down! So anyway, I queued up with this guy - he had curly hair, so lets call him Andrew, he talked to me for a bit and then he casually chatted to the man infront. While this was happening though, a group of guys came and just walked past us! Cheeky beggars... No sorry, I'll talk about smiler. It was really fun! After about 1 hour and a half I finally got to the ride! I got onto the back seat but the view was still amazing! I think it about 1/4 way through when they sprayed laughing gas in our faces - ask Ella how smiley I was afterwards! In the middle of the ride it stopped and said '"you are now halfway" following we went up a REALLY steep incline from which we then dropped. Don't think I've ever been so giddy!
Ha, on a serious note though, smiler was great! Just don't go on the teacups straight after because Ella says they're fun...

Bullying and Self Harm

Hey Guys! So today I wanted to talk about an issue that is very close to my heart. Self harm and bullying. This is a very personal topic so please don't be offended by anything I put. It's just my opinion.

Firstly, bullying. Bullying can happen in any form. There's verbal bullying, physical bulling and cyber bullying. I think the most severe is cyber bulling. Because it's literally verbal bullying - but sometimes it can be anonymous. I really hate websites like Ask.fm because it allows people to post hate to others. Who would even create such a website? Physical bullying can also be just as awful. The fact that someone could actually want to casue pain to someone else is just sickening.

Now the more serious topic. Self harm. Self harm is such a delicate topic to cover. Firstly, people seem to get a stereotypical view of self harmers. 'Emo' people who cut. This is not the case. People from any background can self harm, and it's not just cutting. People seem to think that cutting is the only way of self harm, but it's not. It's just the most popular because sharp objects are so easy to find. Also, self harmers don't nesacairly get bullied. It can be because of anything. Anything can trigger self harm. Whether it be an argument, bullying, or just feeling really crap about yourself. If you see anyone with self harm scars, don't ask them about it. It might bring up memories they want to forget.

But, there are people who self harm for a very, very different reason. For attention. I mean, seriously. Self harm isn't the way to look 'cool'. Self harm is not something to be mocked or faked, it's something that takes lives. You wouldn't pretend to be ill to get sympathy, would you? Self harm affects you mentally just as much as it affects you physically. However, people who decide to tell others about their experiences with self harm aren't attention seeking either. They're just people who have been through a lot, and want to share their stories of how they got though it/are getting through it. People who want to feel like they are not alone. If someone shows you their scars, it's either for help or that they are proud that they have defeated it. If someone needs your help, give them as much support as possible, without asking too many question. Respect their privacy. If they don't want to tell you, they don't have to. Keep reminding them that you are there for them and always will be. The most important thing is, if they have only told you, don't tell anyone else. They have told you because they trust you and feel like it's appropriate to tell you, there may be reasons they don't want others to know.
Never say things like, "please stop", "why don't you just stop?" "Why'd you start in the first place?" Or, "that's horrible". Trust me, they are some of the worst things you could say.

But, it can get better. Self harm is not some in curable disease. If you get help from the right people? It is possible to over come it. Scars are meant to fade, lives aren't. There are always people who love you and will care about you. Whether that be a family member, a friend, an acquaintance or a member of staff at your school. There is always someone who will listen.

OMG ascghjvhjvhmsbkjhskug WHAT?!?

Hey guys! Well, I've had a very, very, very good day today... Well, firstly, I've listened to Dan and Phil's radio show and that always puts me in a good mood. But, there's something else I want to talk about.
I write all my blog posts on my iPad, on the blogger app. And I don't think my iPad allows me to see how many people view my blog. I was curious to see how many views I have on my blog, so I went on my laptop to see if I could find out. And I did. And my mind is blown.

I have had 446 blog views! What?!
United Kingdom - 332 views
Russia - 48 views
United States - 43 views
Germany - 12 views
Netherlands - 4 views
Australia - 1 view
South Korea - 1 view

People the other side of the world have at least seen my blog. You literally don't know how happy that makes me, thank you to all who have read my blog! I love you all!

Alton Towers! 2

Hello again, here is part two of my Alton Towers adventure! So, on my last blog, I talked about Air, Oblivion and more. Here is what happened afterwards! Hope you enjoy!

The next ride we went on was... Th13teen! Th13teen is a really good ride, a proper roller coaster! It's full of twists, turns and drops! We queued for about an hour to get on this ride, but it was definetly worth the wait. Here is something that happened whilst we were waiting for the ride. To be honest, I could have punched these people, they were being that annoying. Firstly, one of them was taking the piss out of how I speak and the words I use. I tend to say things like, "I'm ever so sorry" and "lagging behind". Basically I have a developed vocabulary. So that was the first thing that kind of pissed me off a bit. Secondly, they were all acting like immature give year olds. They had these toy things, they're like a brightly coloured, squishy ball with net around it. When you squeeze it, it comed out of the holes of the net and changes colour slightly. Personally, I don't see the appeal. But, these people had two if them, and the squeezed them so much, that the burst. But instead of putting the probably toxic substance and it's previous container in a bin or a bag, they just left them in the floor and on fences. I mean, what if someone, like Issy, had really expensive suede shoes on, and that would stain them?  They just had no respect what so ever for anyone around them. So, Issy and myself created a plan to leave them. We got in a different carriage and then, when the ride had stopped we just walked off. Clever, eh? Well, if worked anyway. But as long as you don't have a bunch of disrespectful, gobby teenagers with you, it's defiantly worth the wait.

Then we went on... The Smiler! Well, I didn't, but Issy did. I'll re-post this when I have it so you can all read what it was like. ^_^

Whilst Issy was queuing/on The Smiler, I found a girl called Holly (who also went to my school) waiting for her friends to come off The Smiler as well, so while we were in the X Sector, we went on a little ride called Submission. It's not a roller coaster or anything, but it's good none the less. It just spins you round and hangs you upside down and stuff, there's not really much to explain here, but it really hurts your legs, especially if your wearing shorts! The bar things that keep you in place are super tight. If you're a girl, it also kills your chest. No joke. Then we waited for Issy to come of The Smiler. As soon as she got off, guess where we went... Submission again! I forgot to mention, the que for Submission is so short, you practically walk straight on.

Then we went on... Maunderers Mayhem! It's like a tea cup kind of ride. A really spinny one. But, listen to this. Issy had been on the scariest ride at Alton Towers, and she didn't feel sick. But when she went on the tea cups, she felt like she was going to throw up. Good going there IzzaFizza... We only waited about five minutes for this. We went on it because we didn't really have much time to go on anything else. It was fun, being flinged around everywhere whilst spinning rather fast.

Finally, we went to... The Aquarium! Issy and I went into the aquarium only because earlier in the day, I had really wanted to go in it. We saw sharks and sting rays that smiled at us. Honestly, they are like one of the cutest things ever! There wasn't any wait, that's it really.

The we all met back up, bought a photo, got on the coach and went back to school. I was sat in the same place as before, but I wasn't sat next to Issy, I was sat next to a different Megan. Yep. Jack and Liam were still behind us. Still bugging me like crazy. I had no more Maoams to make him stop though. It was okay in the end, he soon got bored. It was really nice talking to Megan, we hadn't really talked since primary school.

So that is what we got up to at Alton Towers! 08/06/13

Alton Towers!

Well, this whole 'two blog a week' thing isn't working particularly well. So, I'm just going to tell you where I went last weekend - Alton Towers! I went with my friends - Issy, Megan and Izzy. I'll just be telling you guys what we did, what rides we went on, things like that, enjoy! ^_^

The coach journey there was hilarious! I was sat next to Issy, with Jack and Liam sat behind us. All I can say is, they were rather annoying, just joking! I think Jack might read this so, it was really fun, giving up half of my Maoams just so they wouldn't keep tapping our heads any more. Fun fun fun fun fun! (Just imagine that Tigger was singing that...)

We first went on... Air! Air is a really amazing ride, it was the first roller coaster Megan had ever been on at Alton Towers, so whilst we were lining up for the ride, Megan was really excited, she was literally hyperventilating because she was so excited! We got on the ride, I was sat next to Issy, and Megan was sat next to Izzy. It's such a nice ride because its not scary, it's fun, it feels like you're flying, not like you're going to die. We waited for about 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all. I'm so glad it was the first ride we went on.

The next ride we went in was... Oblivion! Yep, we went on Oblivion, the ride with a 90 degrees vertical drop. We arrived at X Sector, and walked to the entrance of Oblivion, then Megan decided she didn't want to go in it, Izzy, Issy and I left our bags with Megan and started to wait. The line was quite long, we were waiting for about an hour, but once we got on it we knew it was well worth the wait! We were sat in the middle, on the front. We slowly started to move up the track, and my heart started racing, Izzy started laughing uncontrollably. We got to the top, then we tipped over the edge! It was really, really, really terrifying! We shot down the track faster than the speed of light and then we plummeted into a tunnel of complete darkness. Shame it only lasted for like, 6 seconds.

*techno fan fail*
Then we went to meet up with our teachers to show them that we were still alive, so we just wandered around Mutiny Bay until they arrived, we went to the toilets and surprise surprise, I left my phone, in the toilets. Well done Ella. After about 3 minutes, I realised I had left my phone, on top of the toilet roll dispenser. We ran back to the toilets and found it wasn't there, so Issy called it, then the lovely lady who found my phone met up with us and gave it back to me. Thank god!

Instalment two of this will be posted tomorrow! Hopefully! Bye everyone! (That was an Instagram photo, I kind of had to cut Megan out)

Favourite YouTubers!

Hey guys! Today I shall be doing a post on my favourite YouTubers. I'm going to say a bit about them and why they are in my top 5! Well, 6 technically, but, I have joint first. I've been watching YouTube videos ever since I was about 5, when YouTube first came out...

Joint 1st : AmazingPhil and LessAmazingPhil (Phil Lester) and danisnotonfire and danisnotinteresting (Dan Howell)
Firstly, Philip. I've been watching Phil's videos for about 7 months (ish). His hair is pure perfection and his eyes! Wow, let's just say they are the most beautiful eyes ever! I love them! His fans are called 'Phillions' and his favourite animals are lion. He shares a flat with Dan in London and he has previously shared a flat with Dan in Manchester where they went to University. Plus, Phil and Dan have a radio show on BBC Radio 1 at 7:00pm (UK Time) on a Sunday, id definitely recommend checking that out...

Secondly, Daniel. I've been watching Dan's videos for about a month more than I've been watching Phil's, so around 8 months. When he came back from Sicily, he had the best tan ever! His videos never fail to make me laugh, like 'the panic alarm' and 'the power nap'. His accent is just to die for. But, as he says, it's not posh, it's articulate. Like me. I've got a 'different' accent to everyone else in my school. It's not posh, it's well spoken... So, that's why Dan and Phil are my favourite YouTubers.

2nd : ItsWayPastMyBedTime and TwentyThirtyTwo(Carrie Hope Fletcher)
Awh, Carrie is so pretty! Her hair is gorgeous, it's long, blonde and curly! She's amazing at guitar and singing, and she has the best brother in the world - Tom Fletcher from McFly. Her dress sense is simple and classic. I really like her series, 'fairy fails'. She's such a role model to me and that's why I like her so much. I've been watching her for quite a long time, how long, I'm not to sure... But, I've loved all of the videos I've seen of hers. I can defiantly class myself as a Hopeful!

3rd : charlieissocoollike and charlieissoboredlike (Charlie McDonnell)
Charlie is the YouTuber I have watched for the longest. He is a truly great person who does so much for charity! Rather recently, he as been to Africa for the 'IF' campaign with his mum. He is the most subscribed to person in the UK (I think). I loved his red hair, it really suited him... I adore his band - Chameleon Circuit - who plays songs about Doctor Who. Cool right? He is really good at singing and acting. His short film 'The Tea Chronicles' was epic! I'd love for it to be made into a full length film, I can't wait for that day...

4th : Nerimon (Alex Day)
Alex is a really talented man, with great ideas. His 'Life Scouts' scheme is an very inspiring way of getting people to do more with their lives (I'll link it down below). It's basically like a scouts/guides themed things where you can buy enamel pin badges to show what life experiences you've had. There are all sorts of badges, like the sky diving badge, the play the clarinet badge and the own a pet badge. He is also in Charlie McDonnell's band, Chameleon Circuit. He frequently uploads videos so there is never a shortage of entertainment... I love him!

5th : BryarlyBishop (Bryary Bishop)
Bryarly is a really beautiful lady who has a highly unique singing voice and style. You'd never expect her to sing like she does when you hear her accent. She reads a heck of a lot, and is one of those girls who enjoys being quiet and natural. Not loud and orange. I've been watching her for about 5 months... Her videos are always varied, so it keeps you guessing what her next video will be. She had the most gorgeous hair, it's short and simple, but I think it looks fabulous blonde! She used to have it her natural pretty brown with a blue/turquoise streak in her fringe. I can't wait to see her next video!

So there is my top 6 favourite YouTubers. I've done a little collage of them and I'll post it as well.
| Jasmine - PJ Liguori (KickThePJ) | Snow White - Phil Lester | Mulan - Chris Kendall (CrabStickz) | Aurora - Carrie Hope Fletcher | Cinderella - Bryarly Bishop | Pocahontus - Dan Howell | Belle - Alex Day | Ariel - Charlie McDonnell |

Best Friends

Hey everyone, this post is about the importance of best friends. I have had lots of best friends thought the years, and probably 30% turned out to be fake. Yes I know I'm only 13, bit I've had my fair share of traumatic friendship related experiences in my time. But lets focus on the good now, not the bad.
My first ever best friend - Georgia Green. We were inseparable. We loved every minute of time we spent together. We were best friends from about Year 2 (Around 6 years old) and Year 6 (Around 10 years old). We grew apart in secondary school when we were put in different halves of the year. That brings us to now I guess, we rarely speak or see each other, but when we do, it's a reversion back to our childhood.
My current best friend - Lauren Johnson-Allott. She is like my sister! We have known each other since we were born, as our mums would have probably been on the same maternity ward. We then met again when we were 4, in Janet Mitchell's school of dance. We properly met in Year 4 (About 8 years old), we have grown closer in the past few years and we have so many memories as well! Having over 10 sleepovers with each other, camping out in a tent, going on a pedlo, going on a miniature train, writing and recording songs and so many more!
I really do love my best friend and I never want to lose her, Lauren Victoria Johnson-Allott, you are not only me best friend, you are my sister.
Comment who your best friends are and your favourite memory you've had with them!
- Ella:)
