Hi, again...

Hey guys, sorry I've not been posting a lot, more blog complications have occurred just like in the summer, but now everything is fixed!

I'd just like to make a short post about my favourite autumn items (beauty and none beauty). I've seen this tag floating around the Internet for a bit so I though I might give it a go for myself!

1) Favourite Yankee Candle scent for autumn?
Fluffy Towels, for definite. There just something really nice about the smell of fresh linen for me, don't even ask... Or Strawberry Buttercream - both are a must have!

2) Favourite song for autumn?
This autumn I've really been loving Dancing Song or Worry by Little Comets. I'll leave links to these at the end.

3) Favourite clothing item for autumn?
I love shirts for autumn/winter becasue they are great for layering with thick jumpers or cardigans. My favourite shirt is either a white lace one from Topshop or a dusty shell pink sheer shirt from New Look.

4) Favourite shoes for autumn?
My Doc Marten floral looks likes from BHS. They're really comfertable and suit most of my autumn wardrobe very well. They're navy blue with cream and marron roses.

5) Favourite memory from this autumn?
Seeing one of my favourite bands live - The Vamps - at the Meadowhall Christmas Light Swich On with two of my best friends, Olivia (@0livia3mily) and Ellie (@EllieRose505). It was such a good vibe there and seeing them live literally made my year!

6) Favourite autumn accessory?
Beanies all the way! I live in my beanies - my favourite colours are dark wine red and black.

7) Favouirte Lush product for autumn?
I know it's kind of a Christmas one, but the 'So White' bath ballistic (I think it's called that) is just amazing. It has the best scent in the world. It smells just like fresh apples.

8) Favourite Starbucks for autumn?
Pumpkin Spice Latte - it's a really overrated drink but I love it anyway.

9) Favourite autumn perfume?
Kenzo de Kenzo by Kenzo. It's one of my fist perfumes and I just love it to pieces - it just has a warm, musty scent to it that I love.

10) Who should answer this next?
I'd like Rhiannon (fashionrocksmysocks) to answer this because she is my all time favourite blogger and she's the reason Diary Of a Techo Fan exists today.

Thanks for reading, bye!

Change

Hey guys, I wanted to make a post about trying something new and making a change for the better. I've been trying this out recently and about a month ago, I found the perfect way to do it.

There is an Irish YouTuber called BriBryontour and he basically does whatever he has to do to be happy. He has created this thing called 'things to do before we die' and it's basically telling us to do whatever we have to do to make the most out of life.

I've decided to embark on one of these and try to recreate his most recent video in my own way. The video is called 'living life in 30 hours' and what he does is he visits two places, in 30 hours. And I'm not saying that you need to spend loads of money on expensive plane tickets or things like that, you just have to travel as far as you want. BriBry traveled to San Francisco and Mexico on his trip. I'm don't really feel like I'm old enough to travel such a distance but this is what I'm going to try to do.

Firstly I'll travel from Sheffield to Gretna, then to Stranraer, after that I'll get a ferry to Belfast, from Belfast I'll travel to Bangor, then Dundalk, then Dublin. From Dublin I'll get a ferry to the Isle Of Man, then another one to Liverpool, then back to Sheffield! All together the journey is approximately 755 miles long and it'll cost around £800. I'm going to try to save up so that sometime next year, this dream will become a reality.

Another way to change your life for the better is by changing something you don't like. Anything, whether it be as simple as the wall colours in your bedroom or something as deep as something you don't like about yourself. Whatever you change will instantly make your life happier and more worth living. I'm going to try and do this to make my life as happy as possible and I think you should do the same. Within the next month, make a change in your life. You'll be surprised at how different you feel afterwards.

Some suggestions I have for making a difference in our lives are
- Listen to a different genre of music
- Dye your hair
- Donate to charity
- Tell someone how much of an inspiration they are
- Travel as much as possible
- Meet new people
- Get rid of anything that makes you unhappy
- Say yes to more things

I hope you enjoyed this post because I had a lot of fun writing in, so, together we can make a change in how we see the world.

September Favourites

Hey guys! Here are my 4 favourite products (make up and clothing items), 3 favourite songs, 2 favourite apps and 1 favourite moment of the past month.

Four favourite products

Topshop nail polish in ‘Celestial’
This nail polish is a really pretty, light, cornflower blue. I think it looks great on tanned or pale hands, and it’ll go well with most colours. It is very long lasting and it doesn't chip straight away. Personally, the only downside to it is that it is quite translucent. It takes 2-3 coats to get it to a nice opaque colour. Apart from that, this nail polish is fantastic and I am definitely going to purchase some other colours.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream for Oily Skin
This BB Cream is fantastic! It has great light to medium coverage and leave the skin with a natural, healthy glow. It works great with normal to oily skin because it has 2% Salicylic who reduces the appearance of oily skin. The only thing I dislike about this product is the lack of colour variety. There are only three shades, light, medium and dark. For me, light is a little bit too dark for me bit it works just fine when you apply a translucent or paler powder. I would definitely recommend this.

Tartan scarf from Asos.com
This scarf is a deep red, blue, green and yellow tartan pattern. It is so thick and soft that it is perfect for using as an accessory or using it as an actual scarf to keep you warm during the colder months. The deep jewel tone colours suit all skin tones and pretty much any colours. It is an extremely long scarf so it is suitable for wearing it in many different ways depending on if it's a fashion statement or to keep you cosy. I don't dislike anything about this scarf, it's a great all rounder and I will be purchasing some in different colour schemes.

Red, cream and navy floral boots from Bhs
These shoes are perfect for autumn! They're a Doc Marten style and the go really well with skirts and dresses to add a bit of an edge. They're really comfertable and they're wearable with out socks (there's a lot of boots that you can't do that with.) They look brilliant with my tartan scarf that I previously talked about because of th similar colours. I bought these boots about a year ago so they aren't available to buy any more, but I'm sure that you can buy similar ones from shops like Office or New look.

Three favourite songs

Fall Out Boy - Young Volcanoes
Two Door Cinema Club - Sleep Alone
Foo Fighters - The Pretender

Two favourite apps

Walking Dead - this is a game where the game changes depending on what choice you make, it's about a zombie apocalypse and you have to try and survive. It's a super good game but not for the faint hearted, it contains a lot of gory scenes - it's made even worse with the good graphics.

Snapchat - it's a great app for having a laugh with your friends. It's made even better because of the time limit on each photo so you don't have a really embarrassing photo of yourself on someone else's phone forever. I'm not too sure about the new update though, it's a bit confusing for such a simple app.

One favourite moment

At the very end of the month, I had a sleepover with my chummy (Vicky) and we had the best time ever! We cooked popcorn - I made an Instagram video about it. We ate pizza, watched X Factor, put face masks on and loads more! It was such a fun night, I loved it!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I might do more favourite in the future!

Hello October!

Hey guys! I'm back! My blog had a bit of a break down and it wouldn't let me log in, but I have sorted the problem and have returned for the rest of the year! I'm going to try and post once a week, but I'm going to try and make each post different. I want to appeal to a wide range of audiences, so my blog can grow. I'll be writing about bands, books, photography, travel, beauty and much more! Hopefully I'll get my first proper post up on Friday/Saturday and then I'll get back into the swing of things. If you do have any suggestions of posts please tweet, Facebook, email, tumblr message, or Instagram me your ideas because I'd love to hear them. I'll leave all my social media links below. I hope you guys had an amazing September and have a great October.
